Deleting your account
Want to delete your TeamFamily account and the data linked to it? You can do it yourself in the app in a few seconds. Below you'll find the instructions and exactly what we remove.
How to delete your account — in the app
Open Profile → Account → Delete account, confirm with your password and you're done — we delete your account and the associated data immediately. Shared data (e.g. historical settlements) is anonymized so as not to affect other household members' data.
No access to the app? Email support@teamfamily.pl.
Can't sign in? We'll delete it on request
If you no longer have access to the app, we'll delete your account after verifying the request:
SEND AN ACCOUNT-DELETION REQUEST TO
support@teamfamily.pl
from the email address linked to your account, with “Account deletion” in the subject.
- Email support@teamfamily.pl from the email address linked to your account — this lets us confirm the request comes from you and not from an unauthorized person.
- Put “Account deletion” in the subject line.
- We'll confirm we received your request and delete the account and associated data within 30 days.
What data will be deleted
- account data: email address, password (hash), username, first name,
- your device token(s) used for push notifications,
- shopping-list items you created,
- your settlements and balances.
What we may keep or anonymize
- Shared data (e.g. historical settlements visible to other household members) may be anonymized rather than deleted, so as not to affect other users' data.
- Data we must retain for legal or security reasons is kept for the required time and then deleted.
